the iditarod is sumthing where there is 16 dogs . the iditarod is in alaska. My class is reading a page for every mile. I am in third place. It is a contest. There are 1161 miles. We have to read 1161 pages in one month. The musher we are following is Martin. And Nancy but Nancy is out of the game. We built a checkpoint in my school made out of wood. I got to go in it. There are injured dogs in it. Pretend injured dogs. We get to help them. There are 25 checkpoints in the race. The race takes 10 days. The dogs are huskies. My school's mascot is a husky too. We saw a real husky at school. It's name is Frankie.
